1. The performance of silicone umbrella skirt


Silicone umbrella skirts are shaped by high temperature and high pressure. The first silicon creepage-increasing umbrella skirts successfully developed in China are divided into "creepage-increasing umbrella skirts for DC suspension porcelain (glass) insulators" and "column insulators creepage-increasing umbrella skirts". The following are collectively referred to as creepage-increasing skirts. Special adhesives (vulcanized fluorosilicone rubber in room temperature ) are sued to bond it with the top of the original porcelain and glass umbrella skirts to form a combined insulation. Adjust the number of bonding sheets appropriately to meet the suspension requirements of suspension insulator and high-voltage electrical equipment to increase the requirements for creepage distance.


Using this product can effectively increase the "pollution flashover" voltage in heavily polluted areas. It has excellent corrosion resistance, aging resistance and water repellency and self-cleaning function of silicone umbrella skirt, and it is light in weight and convenient for on-site construction.


2. Which areas silicone umbrella skirts can be applied to


DC or AC transformer and distribution equipment should be protected against rain and flash, especially for equipment with an umbrella pitch of less than 70mm. Silicone umbrella skirts should be used as much as possible. When the creepage distance of the power transmission and transformation equipment in operation in the dirty area no longer meets the operating requirements, the climbing umbrella skirt shall be adopted as a remedial measure to adjust the creepage. In severely polluted areas, and the transformer and distribution equipment with severely insufficient creepage distance can be equipped with the silicone umbrella skirt and anti-pollution flashover coating can be used to adjust the creepage distance.
