(4) The influence of the installation type of the insulator string on the contamination: the contamination of the insulator string of the pendant string is the most serious. The upper and lower surfaces of the horizontal string insulator can be washed by rainwater, and its self-cleaning performance is the best. The contamination level of V-string insulators is between that of pendant and horizontal strings.
